It is also possible to fit an access control device into tight spaces. The width of the passage to the sports center of the Hotel Abácie in Nový Jičín is very limited, which is why we had to slightly modify our thin tripod turnstile Tristar Slim. We supplemented it with a second rotating arm to enable two-way and smooth operation (and on the other hand, avoid collisions and unnecessary waiting).
Entry to the premises is limited - the turnstile will allow passage only after presenting either a Wiegand card for employees or subscribers of the sports center, or after scanning a ticket with a barcode for a single entry. On the other hand, the exit arms of the turnstile are free, so with a gentle push, the mechanism is activated and visitors can leave.
